The Science Olympiad Center is a state educational institution under the Agency for Specialized Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Areas of activity
  • identifying and selecting capable young people with an interest in studying subjects in depth, and creating the conditions needed to develop their talent further;
  • developing curricula, literature, methodological recommendations and manuals for the targeted preparation of students for science olympiads;
  • forming a team of coaches for olympiad preparation, including foreign specialists, scholars and university teaching staff, and establishing and encouraging their effective work;
  • organizing and coordinating olympiads, competitions and contests in school subjects at national and international level;
  • supporting students who achieve high results at science olympiads and helping them to work in priority areas of the economy and of science, including in the school education system;
  • widening international cooperation on holding olympiads and disseminating advanced foreign experience in this field;
  • promoting science olympiads and bringing information about the participation and results of Uzbek students at international science olympiads to the wider public.
